Our Doctors

Dr. Chadwick earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry in 1996. Following graduation, she proudly served three years in the United States Navy before joining High Desert Vision Source in 1999. 
 

Committed to providing exceptional patient care and advancing her profession, Dr. Chadwick achieved Fellowship status in the American Academy of Optometry (F.A.A.O.), a distinction recognizing advanced clinical knowledge and dedication to lifelong learning. 
 

In 2001, Dr. Chadwick and her husband, Norm, made Powell Butte their home. Together they have raised two daughters, Grace and Lilly. As a longtime Central Oregon resident, Dr. Chadwick values the opportunity to build lasting relationships with her patients and help families maintain healthy vision throughout every stage of life. 

Dr. Kilah Atkinson joined our practice in January 2012.  She graduated from Pacific University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology before going on to graduate from the University of Houston College of Optometry.  While in optometry school, Dr. Atkinson earned several Letters of Excellence for her clinical work.  


She was raised in Redmond and she and her family are happy to call Central Oregon home again. Outside the office, Dr. Atkinson loves spending time with her husband and twins. Much of her free time is spent on the sidelines of her children’s sporting events, traveling as a family, and enjoying outdoor adventures together.  

Audrey Brumley, OD joined High Desert Vision Source in July 2013 after graduating from the University Of Houston College of Optometry with honors and the Excellence in Pediatrics Award. Originally from Salem, Dr. Brumley graduated from Oregon State University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and Dean’s List. Dr. Brumley enjoys seeing all ages of patients but she has a special focus in pediatrics, ocular disease, and specialty contact lenses. She is expanding her scleral lens fitting practice and is now offering myopia management to our pediatric patients. 
 

In her spare time, Dr. Brumley enjoys horseback riding, hiking, softball, and reading. Dr. Brumley and her husband, Chris, have a daughter, Evie, and a son, Lyndon. 

Karisa Cervantes joined our practice in 2024. She received her Bachelor’s from Western Oregon University in 2018 and Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry in 2023. During clinical rotations she gained experience in Primary Care, Specialty Contact Lenses, Vision Therapy, and Ocular Disease. Dr. Cervantes worked closely with ophthalmologists in Eugene to provide post-op care after cataract and corneal surgeries. Although she loves all areas of optometry, her focus lies with contact lenses. She takes great pride in fitting patients into specialty contacts, specifically scleral contact lenses, to provide comfort from dry eye and optimal vision that is otherwise unattainable with a pair of glasses or regular soft contact lenses. As you get to know Dr. Cervantes, you will learn she brings personalized and genuine care to every patient interaction! 
 

Dr. Cervantes was born and raised in Prineville. She is excited to return “home” to give back to the communities that helped her get where she is today. Outside of eye care, she enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, baking, and dancing. Dr. Cervantes and her husband, Aldo, also enjoy spending time together with friends/family and their two dogs; Siris and Neby.
